Settings
The Settings page holds the preferences for your account and shows the limits of your account. Each control saves on its own, so you can change one preference without a change to the others.
Account name
The account name is a friendly name for your account. It appears in the sidebar of the console and in the incident notifications that ZeroDrop sends. A webhook or an on-call inbox therefore shows the source of the alert. The default is your email address. To change the name, edit the field and select Save.
Timezone
Select the timezone for ZeroDrop to read and show times. The timezone affects:
- The start and end times of maintenance windows.
- The timestamps in the console.
Set the timezone to your own working timezone. The times that you read and enter are then the times that you mean.
Notifications
Repeat reminders control whether ZeroDrop notifies you again while an incident stays open. Reminders are off by default. You then get one alert when a check fires and one when it resolves. Select a cadence, for example every 30 minutes. ZeroDrop notifies the channels of the check on that schedule until the incident closes. See Incidents & alerts.
Theme
ZeroDrop uses a dark theme by default. You can change to a light theme. ZeroDrop remembers your choice on this device.
Password
Change the password of your account here. For the details, see Account & security.
Account limits
ZeroDrop is free and the same for every account, so these two limits are read-only.
| Limit | What it means |
|---|---|
| Maximum checks | The number of checks that your account can have at one time. |
| Minimum interval | The shortest probe interval that you can set. The default is 60 seconds. |
These limits are not part of a subscription. If you need more checks or a shorter interval, contact us. We can increase either limit for your account.
